Tropical Storm Debby, June 24, 2012, parked itself approximately 125 miles southwest of Sunset Watch, generating sustained 45mph winds from the south and southeast, and then IT RAINED!
At 8:24PM on June 24th, a tornado was sighted crossing the north end of Shell Key Preserve and heading to Pass-A-Grille. As you look out over Monte Cristo you will see the lights flicker and then finally go out. They were without power for about four hours. The bright flashes in the video are wires coming down and electrical transformers exploding all along Pass-A-Grille Way and Gulf Boulevard.
